UAE roads turn into rivers as heavy rain drenches the UAE.

Residents of Dubai witnessed streaks of lightning in the night sky around midnight, accompanied by thunder and light rain.

A night full of thunder and rain has turned into a heavy rainy day and parts of the country have been flooded.

Police have issued warnings to drivers to be careful on the roads and follow the rules to avoid accidents and dangerous situations.

Meanwhile, videos circulating online show how heavy the rains are and cars have to make their way through river-like roads.

The National Weather Service has issued orange and yellow warnings across the country, as well as nearby seas, warning residents of clouds and heavy rain until Wednesday.
