An Indian expat in Sharjah won Dh20 million in Big Ticket Abu Dhabi’s latest draw held on Sunday night

Prince Kolassery Sebastian, hailing from the south Indian state of Kerala, won the jackpot for the ticket number 197281. It was bought on October 4.

“I still can’t believe it,” he said when the show presenters called him shortly after the live draw.

He said he was informed by one of his friends who called him as he was not watching the live draw. However, he was still in doubt.

Living in the UAE for eight years, Sebastian said he had purchased the ticket as part of a group of 10 colleagues.

Sebastian added that he had no plans as of yet on how to spend the money. “I still have to think about it,” he said. “I am getting many calls.”

Last month’s Dh20 million winner Abul Monsur picked up the Sunday’s winning ticket.

Earlier, UAE national Nasser Al Suwaidi became the winner of the Dream Car Series by winning a Range Rover Velar.

Dh25 million grand prize

Show presenters Richard and Bouchra also announced a grand prize of Dh25 million for next month’s draw. Additionally, a 24 carat gold bar will be given away to a lucky winner every day, they said.
