Indian nurse wins Dh30-million Big Ticket jackpot

Indian ambulance nurse Manu Mohanan, a Bahrain resident, won the Dh30-million Big Ticket jackpot after five years of trying. Until this win, he struggled to afford airfare for his family’s visit to India. Manu will share the prize with 16 friends who contributed to buying the ticket. He expressed gratitude for this life-changing moment and plans to buy a gift for his mother, who single-handedly raised him after his parents’ divorce. His group, including former colleagues, plans to use the money to repay debts and improve their lives.
