Landmark Group Opens First Textile Recycling Center in the Middle East
Landmark Group has launched the first textile recycling center in the Middle East, located in Dubai World Central. The center is designed to revive old textiles and reuse them in new products. Since last year, used clothing collection programs have been implemented in stores like Centrepoint, Max Fashion, and Home Box. These items are sent to the recycling center, where they are transformed into new fibers for future use. Renuka Jagtiani, Chairperson of Landmark Group, stated that this initiative marks a significant step towards sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of the fashion and textile industry in the region.
