A man traveling from Dubai International Airport (DXB) was caught with witchcraft items in his luggage

A man traveling through Dubai International Airport (DXB) was caught with some of the strangest objects in his luggage: a live snake, a monkey's hand, a dead bird, and an egg wrapped in cotton.

According to a report published in Al Youm Palace Arabic newspaper, Dubai Customs has banned attempts to smuggle these items, which are believed to be used in witchcraft.

The seized items were handed over to Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Affairs Department for further investigation.

Khalid Ahmed, Terminal 1 Senior Manager of Passenger Operations, said Dubai Customs is committed to combating smuggling in all its forms.

He said the team will continue to work and do everything they can to protect the community from harm.
