Burjeel Group to Establish a Specialist Oncology Network in the GCC

Abu Dhabi-based Burjeel Holdings has acquired an 80% stake in Dubai's Advanced Care Oncology Center (ACOC) for AED 92 million. The company plans to leverage the ACOC brand to build a specialist oncology network across the GCC, offering advanced treatments such as radiation therapy, nuclear medicine, and chemotherapy. Burjeel also holds an option to purchase the remaining 20% stake in the future. In 2024, ACOC reported revenues of AED 64 million. The center’s founder and CEO, Bashir Abou Reslan, retains a 10% stake and will continue leading operations. This strategic move will expand Burjeel’s cancer care capabilities, enhancing accessibility to high-quality oncology treatments in the region.
