Dubai Metro has been recognized as one of the most reliable metro systems globally, achieving 99.7% accuracy and accessibility. Since its launch in 2009, the metro's 79 trains have traveled over 1.5 million kilometers. Annual maintenance programs, including rail grinding across the 189-kilometer Red and Green lines, have significantly enhanced durability and efficiency. These efforts reflect the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) commitment to safety, operational excellence, and a sustainable, carbon-free future.
