Dubai Marathon 2025: Important traffic updates and road closures for January 12

The Dubai Marathon 2025, taking place on January 12, will feature thousands of athletes from around the world. Key roads, including Umm Suqeim Street and sections of Jumeirah Road, will be closed starting at midnight for the event, which begins at 6am and is expected to finish by 1pm. To accommodate the crowds, Dubai Metro will start operating at 5am, with extended hours for easier access. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) urges residents and visitors to plan ahead to avoid disruptions, with specific vehicle crossing points and lane openings for smoother traffic flow.
