UAE residents go ice chasing in Al Ain, RAK as temperatures near 0°C

As temperatures in the UAE dropped close to 0°C, residents ventured to mountainous regions like Jebel Jais and Jebel Yibir for ice-chasing experiences. Sharjah resident Nizar Ahmed recorded a temperature of -2.5°C on Jebel Jais, while others experienced 2.9°C in Al Ain's Raknah area. Despite limited ice formation this year, adventurers prepared with thick clothing, built fires, and enjoyed the cold weather. One group cooked breakfast with karak tea and dosa on Jebel Yibir, where temperatures hovered between 0 and 1°C. Weather forecasts predict a gradual rise in temperatures from Monday but hint at possible rain and another dip in temperatures on Thursday.
