The ‘1 Billion Meals Endowment’ tower will be built on Sheikh Zayed Road and will cost Dhs800 million.
The United Arab Emirates will once again build the tallest tower.
The "1 Billion Meals Endowment" tower will be built on Sheikh Zayed Road for 800 million dirhams. This is part of Dubai's Waqf 1 Billion Meals initiative, which aims to increase assets and help create a food safety net for tens of millions worldwide.
There is no definite news regarding the start of construction and the completion of the building. But the tower is being developed by Wasl Properties. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai have recently reviewed the construction plans of this tower. "We want to do philanthropic work, and this project is a key step in our efforts to grow endowment assets that help protect the underprivileged from the dangers of hunger," he said.
Hisham Al Qassim, Managing Director of Wasl Asset Management Group, said: "Waqf Tower will be built according to the highest international standards to achieve the best possible efficiency, which will significantly contribute to Waqf's goals of one billion meals and its development. In addition, it is one of the successes of charity programs in the holy month of Ramadan.
